Education requires a safe environment for success. Bevill State Community College (hereinafter, the "College") is strongly committed to the safety of its students and employees. The College shall strive to provide a safe environment for students, faculty, staff, and other campus visitors.
The College shall adopt and continuously update an Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) and shall hold active drills and exercises at each campus. Safety and security training shall be included in new student and employee orientation, and faculty and staff shall participate in safety and security training annually. The College shall complete annual safety and security reports in compliance with state and federal law.
The President shall adopt appropriate procedures for implementation of this policy.
